Barker Creek provides a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding. Your guests will fall in love with the adorable farm animals and thank-you for the invitation. You will not have to find a separate space for your rehearsal dinner, have it on the farm! We do not book back to back weddings which allows us to listen and focus only on YOUR wedding. Our wedding package takes the headaches out of planning and coordinating delivery of rental tents, chairs, table and linen. The bridal suite doubles as overnight accommodations for yourself or out of town guests for both Friday and Saturday. You and your guests will have complete privacy for creating the wedding of your dreams.
Romance on the Farm
Courter Country Farm is the perfect location for your rustic but elegant outdoor wedding. The sun reflecting off Barker Creek and the aroma of the open field, create the perfect environment for your special day! The water, the trees, the fields beckon for your personal touches. Just up the hill from the main field, you and your guests can visit our alpacas, rabbits, chickens, ducks and adorable little goats.
Summer weddings are beautiful with all the flowers and trees in bloom. However, no one wants to have their day spoiled by the heat of the day. Both the bride and groom will be able to get ready in fully air-conditioned suites. The ladies have the upstairs of the farmhouse with full length mirrors. The gentlemen have full access to our saloon for a game of pool or TV to catch the game while they await the lovely ladies. If you plan your wedding in the early evening, lovely alder trees will provide shade for your guests throughout the celebration.
Twenty wooded acres at the end of the dirt road provide plenty of privacy yet, we are only 5 minutes to town for those last minute needs and easy travel for guests lodging in town.
Besides the natural sounds of the country side, both live and recorded music is allowable and encouraged. We provide speakers, you provide the DJ or band.
Alcohol & Food
Feel free to hold both your rehearsal dinner and wedding at our farm with the caterer of your choice or cater yourself. Alcohol may be served, but requires a banquet permit through the state of Washington ($10/day). Underage or intoxicated persons are not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages; alcoholic beverages are not to be sold.
Courter Country Farm is an exclusive venue. You may begin decorating the ceremony and reception area at 11:00am on Friday and the farmhouse will open at 2pm. Check out is not til Sunday at noon. The Weddings are held every other weekend to allow each wedding party time to plan, decorate, and celebrate.
We are able to accommodate up to 200 people which includes the wedding party.
We love our farm and hope you will too. We wish to protect it for years of future enjoyment. No objects such as tacks, staples, wires, nails of any kind may be affixed to any trees or structures, chairs, tables etc . Please use only bird seed or wildflower seed to toss. Large structures such as arbors may be stored at farm up to one week prior to your event and removed by checkout on Sunday at noon.
Prior to your wedding
Once you have confirmed your booking, we welcome you to bring your photographer out. Use of our entire farm for engagement photos and allow your photographer time to plan those extra special pictures they wish to capture.
Bring your wedding planner, a few friends, and family out for up to four 2-hour planning sessions.
We can accept and store deliveries 12 days prior to your wedding. Air conditioned space is available for your wedding cake.
Two porta-potties with an outdoor sink are wrapped in a beautiful cedar arbor with barn doors, landscaped and freshly serviced. (The bridal party and any special needs guests will have full access to the farmhouse baths throughout the day).
Friday at 11am the reception and ceremony areas open for you to decorate the farm and rehearse. You are welcome to bring in the caterer of your choice for rehearsal dinner. A separate area will be provided with tables, linen and chairs for up to 40 people
The bridal suite doubles as overnight accommodations for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children for both Friday and Saturday night. Use the room as you like for the weekend.
Day of your wedding
Full access to the air-conditioned farmhouse for the bridal party, make-up artists and hair stylists and the Open Gate Saloon for the groomsmen. Beverages not included.
Power and potable water. No high amperage sound systems and caterers must be on their generators.
Seating for 200 for the wedding/reception (we suggest having a few volunteers move the chairs from the ceremony to the reception area following the nuptials).

Stage for dancing the night away
Insurance: An insurance policy must be purchased by WedSafe or through your insurance agency. Minimum 1,000,000.
Wedding day planner: While we recommend a professional wedding planner, you must have someone appointed to be in charge on the day of the event. We do not recommend this be the mother of the bride as much as she may want to help.
Cleaning crew: After a day packed with planning, excitement, and romance, it may be difficult to find energy for cleaning and take down of decor. We have included Sunday morning in your package for clean-up. We can supply a crew for an additional fee.
Final guest count is due 12 days before event.
Rental Fees and Important Information
Engagement pictures only: Use of the entire farm for bride, groom and photographer for two hours $100.
Two Day Inclusive Wedding Package: $4000
Deposits: To secure your dates, a $1500+tax non-refundable deposit is required. Remaining balances may be paid at 6 month and 3 months prior to your event. Once balances are received, they are non-refundable.
Cancellations: While you may cancel at any time, unless we are able to re-book the same dates, no refunds will be granted and all remaining payments remain due.
