Narnia – Formal Decorative Dahlia
Narnia is truly a magical presence in the garden. This variety became a personal legend at our farm last season—while it is officially rated for a standard height, I’m not sure what I fed it because it reached over 7 feet tall! It was by far the tallest dahlia I have ever grown, standing like a literal tree in the garden.
Color Profile: A very unique and shifting palette. The blooms at the very top of its massive height are a bright, cheerful orange with yellow centers, while the lower blooms transition into a beautiful pale yellow.
Unique Form: A Formal Decorative type with perfectly layered petals that hold their shape beautifully even at such extreme heights.
Bloom Size: Features 6" blossoms (Classified as B-size), providing a substantial splash of color.
Plant Height: While officially classified at 4.5' tall, please be warned—our experience shows this "tree-top" dahlia can reach 7'+ with the right love! Sturdy staking is absolutely mandatory.
